High Protein Honey BBQ Chicken Mac & Cheese
Ingredients
  • 700 g Boneless & Skinless Chicken Breast (raw weight)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Olive Oil
  • 25 g Honey
  • 85 g Sugar Free BBQ Sauce (Hughes Sugar Free BBQ Sauce - or reduced sugar BBQ sauce)
  • 320 g Macaroni (dry weight - San Remo Elbow Pasta)
  • 340 ml Fat Free Evaporated Milk (Carnation Light & Creamy - can be substituted for low fat / fat free milk)
  • 80 g Light Cream Cheese (Philadelphia)
  • 1.5 tsp Chicken Stock Powder (Vegeta)
  • 100 g Grated Light Cheddar Cheese (Dairyworks Natural Cheddar Cheese)
Instructions

    Dice chicken breast into bite size chunks; add salt, onion powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder and olive oil and mix it all together

    Cook chicken on medium heat - 4 min each side or until done

    Once cooked, take off heat and add honey and bbq sauce and mix

  4. 4

    Cook Pasta according to instructions on box

  5. 5

    While pasta is cooking, pour evaporated milk into a skillet on medium heat, add cream cheese, chicken stock powder and shredded cheese - keep mixing until smooth and creamy

    Add cooked & drained pasta to skillet and mix until completely blended

  7. 7

    Divide chicken and mac & cheese into 4 equal parts and combine chicken with mac and cheese, enjoy!
