Low Carb Tortilla Burger
Ingredients
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 pinch Salt
  • 1 dash Fresh cracked pepper
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 6 whole Low carb tortillas
  • 6 tsp mustard
  • 1 whole large yellow onion
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil mayo
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened ketchup
  • 2 tsp white vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp powdered monkfruit sweetener
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp relish or 1/2 small dill pickle, grated
  • 1 splash Cooking spray
  • 6 slices Thin slices of cheese
  • 6 piece Lettuce
  • 6 slices Tomato
Instructions

    Start with 1lb lean ground beef. Season with salt, fresh cracked pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well and form into 6 small, thin patties.

    Put the patties on parchment paper, top with a tortilla and apply weight to spread the meat.

    Flip so patties are face up and spread 1tsp of mustard over each pattie and let sit.

    Dice the onion and caramelize in butter with salt in skillet on stove. Add balsamic vinegar for color.

    Mix avocado oil mayo, unsweetened ketchup, white vinegar, monkfruit sweetener, smoked paprika, and relish to make the sauce.

    Spray a pan with cooking spray. Cook the tortilla with meat side down, then flip and cook the tortilla side - cover skillet with lid.

    Place cheese on the tortilla meat side up, melt, and top with lettuce, tomato, onions, and sauce.
